Good morning Lounge
How are you today?

So yesterday after I came home from my doc's appointment (nothing wrong, my eye was just irritated for whatever reason) I got a text message from my friend. She is meeting with two other friends at a café later on. Do I wanna come too? SURE!!! So I went downtown again and we went for a drink. I was home around 11pm. And I have to work today

Today I will find out the dates I will work at my second job starting next week. I really need the money.

Monday is a holiday here, so there won't be a "Good morning" thread.

1. Good Morning
I do know how it is to drink the night before work, but in the military we did physical training at 6:30 AM. Let me tell you in 2nd platoon they love to run. I must say sometimes it did hurt but othertimes when I was still buzzed in gave me motivation to out-run others. :silly: I was moderate in my approach compared to others, I knew a few people didn't came back from drinking til 5:59 AM, 30 minutes before PT formation.

Anyways are you feeling well now?

I am impressed. I am sure I wouldn't be able to drink and then be capable of doing sport.

I actually didn't have any alcohol to drink. So I behaved :D

5. My mistake, I assumed you did when you said you were out til 11 with friends
Though I was average in my ability to maintain, more often then not I lagged when I drank the previous night. You can do it if you're experienced drinker and runner. I recall a Ssg, who was Air Assault qualified could do unbelievably well even after nights of heavy drinking. In fact he was the company's master fitness trainer.

:hi:  :loveya:

Sorry for the late reply - again - this time I had to get out of house and pick up a book. I was walking around Frankfurt with a book that costs 600 Euro :wow:

I took the pic at the zoo. I haven't been to Kenya so far. But I would love to go on a photography safari.

My second job will be working in a groceries store. I am not really sure what exactly I will be doing. Guess I find out next week :)

3. Guten Morgen!
Like you, I have Monday off. I wish I didn't, because it means a more concentrated work week for the rest of the week for me.

I have to rush off to Sprout City at the crack of dawn Tuesday, and then on down to Paris Wednesday morning. If I'm lucky,
that'll be most of what I'm looking at for next week.

One of these years, I'll run down there to Frankfurt when I have two seconds free, and we'll grab coffee at some Konditorei somewhere.

13. I'm ok, just tired and a lil achy.
I was in bed before 8 last night. When I got back to the shop, my brother called with sad news. My sister's Father-In-Law had passed away. My niece and nephews have lost both of their grandfathers since September.

The poor kids.

I knew him fairly well from family gatherings and the like. He was a good man and he adored his grandkids.

10. Good morning.

We had storms all day yesterday and they are calling for more today. My watermelon crops went bad on Farm Town because I wasn't able to get to them in time. I planted 2 and 3 day crops this morning. Hopefully, the storms will calm down after today. We have more coming today. There are some coming already from the looks of the radar. I'm :scared: of bad storms. A simple storm is one thing, but there was a tornado in the county to the southwest of us and it was headed this way before it broke apart. I didn't like that too much at all.

In case I have to shut down and unplug the computer in a hurry, hope everyone has a good day. :hi:

As promised, here is a picture of one of my angel trumpet trees. This tree was planted from a cutting only a few months ago. That's how fast things grow around here. The trumpets have a beautiful tropical smell, especially at night when the air is full of the scent. I have them all over the yard.

Here's a few pics from one of my favorite places to go now days: Cox Arboretum, a few miles from my house. They have hiking trails there and that's where I go to work out.

Today I have a weight loss class here in a couple of hours. I'm trying to start taking guitar lessons, but the music place isn't getting back to me. I was supposed to talk to a teacher by Wednesday, but I haven't heard from anyone. I will give them a call when they open and set them straight. :) I have one more night of work before I get to celebrate the weekend.

41. Yes, it is very pretty
Dayton, Ohio is not known as one of the most picturesque cities in the country, but we've got our good points. We have several parks like that around here, I think 9 of them. A few of them are located on the outskirts of town out in the country a bit, but several of them are close by for people who live in the city. Cox Arboretum has about 3.5 miles of hiking trails in the woods. I walk them all when I go there. It's kind of a beginner's course for what I want to build myself up to. There is a 7 mile trail at one of the parks out in the country. It goes through the woods and has many steep, long hills. I used to walk it every once in a while when I was younger. Even though I was tired when I got done, I felt better for doing it and taking in all of that natural beauty. I would often see critters out there, including deer. I'm taking my camera with me the next time I go.

I used to walk that 7 mile trail by myself. Now days I don't know if I'd do it without a partner. My mom and an uncle have taken up walking for exercise. I will see about getting them to go with me when I feel like I'm ready.
