One time in another company I worked for back in the 90s, a group of us in one department all spontaneously (and inexplicably) started adding "-son" to each other's names and speaking in English accents. :-| I was 'Richardson', colleagues were 'Stevenson', 'Ericson', 'Johnson', 'Robertson' etc. The additional weird thing is that our department was charged with developing our markets in Mexico. Go figure :eyes:
That was a weird couple of weeks.

1. MrG used to have rubber band wars with his buddies at work... |
|
until a bunch of them got stuck in the ceiling tiles and they were handed a "written directive" to "cease and desist" with the "hijinks". I still have the memo somewhere.

2. Any memo with the actual word 'hijinks' in it is a keeper.... |

How is Houston working out for you? Hope you like it in spite of the tropical summer we're heading into.

4. I laughed so hard I cried. |

For years we would say "cease the hijinks" to each other, and the kids.
It's a steamy one out there today, eh? I love it so far Richardo. A weight was lifted. There are good days and bad, but far more good days than there were. :hi:

3. i love when we have days were everyone we talk to has to be wished a blessed day |

though my favourite was when we had to use the words chicken fucker in every conversation with someone, my buddy won the prize whilst conversing with a judge by using the phrase "fowl fornicator" it brought the house down.

6. That's quite weird, Richardson. |

At a job I had way *way* back when, we were a very young and tight-knit group. Many of us routinely smoked weed, while on duty. We talk about it now and just cannot believe we did that, or got away with it. Young and dumb, I guess.
