For my money there isn't a more beautiful woman in Hollywood than Julianne Moore
Edited on Wed Jun-03-09 08:36 AM by LynneSin
She's beautiful, she's talented, she's very pro-choice and she loves the body she has. I have been following her since her days as Frannie Hughes on "As the World Turns"

Actress Julianne Moore has given up on her dream of achieving the perfect body - quitting her lengthy gym workouts so she can spend more time with her friends.

The Hours star resents the Hollywood obsession with super-skinny figures and admits she gets lonely when she dedicates hours of her time to exercise.

Moore, who recently broke down on TV over the death of her mother in April, admits she could look better if she wanted to but has decided to live her life to the full instead.

She says, "I don't think I look particularly fantastic. I know you're not supposed to drink caffeine and I know you're not supposed to drink wine but I do both.

"I could be much thinner if I really worked at it. But there was a time when I was exercising a lot and then I realised that the person I was spending the most time with was my trainer. I thought: 'I don't have time to see my friends!"

And she may be playing Hillary Clinton in an upcoming movie about the Clintons:

1. She is beautiful.
I first noticed her in a small role in "The Fugitive." I think that was about 17 years ago.

Seventeen years! Damn!

3. One of my favorite actresses.
I heard she's friendly, too. When I used to live in L.A., a friend of mine and her husband were walking their dog in the park when a redheaded woman came up to them and complimented their dog.

My friend said the lady was very friendly and that they chatted for a bit. Once the redhead left, my friend and her husband realized it was Julianne Moore.

4. This redhead-lover has got to agree with you.
For all the reasons you cited. Plus, she reminds me of my wife; they could have been separated at birth.

7. useless without pictures. Safe for work if you don't look too long.
Yes, she seems so much more empowered now that she's let herself go.

8. it's a sign of the ridiculousness of our societal standards that she's considered "not skinny"
By what perversion of the language is this woman not a "perfect body"?

9. Especially when the average size of Americans is increasing every day....
So when virtually no one meets the standards we have for "beauty", what will we do then?
