Any idea how to over-ride security settings on a pdf document so I can print it? |
|
Edited on Sat Jun-06-09 11:28 AM by Rabrrrrrr
I have a doc I really want to print out - but it's security has it set so that I can't copy text, print it, or edit it.
Any idea how to over-ride that?
Maybe a basic no-frills pdf reader that can read, but doesn't understand the security shit?

4. When you install foxit |
|
does it automatically override Adobe or do you have to manually go in and shut off Adobe? Do they conflict?

5. They are both independent softwares. |
|
You just have to set which one should open .PDF files by default.

7. I believe so but if that's not the case: |
|
Right-Click on a .PDF document then select "Open with" and in the list click on Choose Program, tick
the box called "alway use this program..." and finally click on Foxit.Done! :)

I do so much with pdfs, this appears to be a better application.
I do appreciate the link and the answers, I'm just trying to decide if I want to go with the free downloads or purchase the complete package.
I have to convert docs I write to pdfs and I have to edit pdfs others send me.
thanks again

3. Click on File, the Print, then in the drop down menu, choose |
|
Microsoft Office Document Image Writer (If you have Office).
That will open up a save window. Save the file, and then open it up. It will open in another program, and you can print it out from there.
