What's the best site for selling used books? |
|
I've never done it before but have quite a few I need to part with and would like to put the money toward my daughter's books for college. The two sites that come to mind are Amazon or half.com or ebay. Any recommendations or warnings?

3. Someone told me that the shipping charge is where you make most |
|
of your money. Wondering if that was the case on all the sites. Also, do any of the sites take a percentage?

5. I've bought used books online before, |
|
and almost always, shipping cost more than the book.
For the least amount of hassle, I'd check out used book stores in your area.
Good luck!

7. I sold books on eBay several years ago, just started again a few months ago. |
|
I would not recommend it to anyone. They seem to have revised all their policies against the small seller, and books do not seem to be selling well. Try Amazon.
Check the forum here for ebay sellers for more on ebay and alternate sites.
Good luck.
