I just went down to put the last load of clothes into the dryer, and when I got back, my younger cat was lying on my carefully stackedpile of freshly ironed pants, and . . . and . . . Smiling! I kid you not! :grr:

Of course the cat was smiling. And he was especially pleased that he could contribute some fresh fur to your wardrobe.
One of mine did the same thing just the other day.

2. Isn't that a strictly enforced cat law? |
|
I always just figured that was a cat law--right up there with "you must urp your hairballs where they are most likely to walk first thing in the morning or in the middle of the night."

4. I had a cat who staked out wet clothes |
|
Years ago I used to use one of those sweater dryers thats stretches a net across a folding four-legged frame to dry wool sweaters. It was on top of my kitchen table when I walked in and found my cat Hilja contentedly settled right in the middle of a wet wool sweater set out on the dryer. Her hammock.
And she did it at every chance she got. Why? Warm dry clothes make sense, but this?

7. Did all your sweaters get stretched out from being used as a cat hammock? |

No but she did tend to make the net that stretched over the frame saggy.

Seriously, works really well. With a long-haired white cat, you learn about this sort of thing!

The cat in question is a snooty but silly girl cat, not a boy. ;)

18. Freshly laundered sheets, |
|
warm, dry and folded up in the closet, with the door ajar--
-- the ultimate cat bed!
Especially if they are black cats( mine) and the sheets are light.
And yes, they smile at you when they lay their.
:)
