1. All my TVs are hooked up to cable boxes so the whole thing
has been meaningless to me

3. I hooked everything up last night
Very proud of myself - I may not know anything about computers, but when it comes to avoiding cable, I am a Goddess.

One of the TVs has a VCR, a DVD player, and an RF box. Went on the internet and found a wiring diagram for that odd configuration (the internets - what can't you find there?)

Meanwhile, my SO laid on the sofa and got drunk and somewhat annoyed that we were missing bits of "Supernatural", and the cat continually tried to climb into my lap (I've been gone for a while). Both were a HUGE help.

Glad to have it done, and delighted that we're still not coughing up for cable.

4. I didn't get a box, and going to try to use this as motivation to go cold turkey
see if I can go without my electronic opium ( which was never as good as the real thing anyway)

6. Bought my first digital TV about 12 years ago.
I think all TV's in the house but one are digital. We've been getting sattelite for years, though, so it's not really an issue.
