Planning for making dinner tonight
I am coordinating my plans for dinner this evening.

I have decided that it will be of a mostly "Americana" food feel with a touch of French and German influences

For the main course I am planning on a hearty meat course (some say is of German orgins) with, of course, an accompanying bread choice
for the vegetable I think we will go with a bit of a medley of indigenous Americana vegetables (corn, tomatoes, lima beans etc.)
there will even be a bit of a "soup" dish- another hearty Americana influence that can be enjoyed by itself or as a compliment to the meat course
for the "starch" I think I will prepare a potato based offering of French influence
As an added flair there will be a tomato based accessory and a spicier "sauce" also of a "French" source

for dessert we will have a dairy offering with a baked sweet surrounding.

Sounds great huh?
