Most stars would be happy to be compared to Angelina Jolie. Megan Fox isn't one of them.

"It's a lack of creativity on the media's part," the "Transformers" star says in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly (on newsstands June 12). "Because I have tattoos and dark hair and I was in an action movie? That's as far as the similarities extend."

Adds Fox, "I'm not the next anyone."

The 23-year-old actress -- who says she was joking when she once said she was afraid of the "Changeling" star -- admits that she has no plans to get to know Jolie.

"She always seems otherworldly in her power and her confidence," Fox says. "I'm sure she has no idea who I am. But if I were her, I'd be like, 'Who <...> is this little bulls--- brat who was in 'Transformers' that's going to be the next me?' I don't want to meet her. I'd be embarrassed."

good point, but

she does say that she doesn't think she is worthy of the comparison since Jolie is also an accomplished actress, while she's just a sex symbol.

I can understand why both of them would be annoyed by the comparison, but I don't think it's due to anyone's lack of creativity:

5. I think it's somewhat that

because it's always done with celebrities and athletes. For years, if a speedy black outfielder that could hit homeruns came up in baseball, he was the next Willie May, while a speedy white outfielder was the next Mickey Mantle.

Jolie was born into celebrity, though, and had some pretty good acting roles early in her career. Fox was almost an unknown before Transformers - there is almost nothing before that in IMDB for her filmography.

6. Is anyone really comparing their acting history though?

Fox is younger and new to the industry so naturally her resume is going to be much lighter. The thing that bugs me about comparing these two actresses is that many people want to start some odd feud between them. It's never just "Fox looks like Jolie", it's always "Fox to replace Jolie" which, as Fox points out, is ridiculous and insulting to both of them.

and, while they have a similarity in sexiness, I don't think they look that much alike... Jolie is taller & curvier. Fox is slim & petite.

One thing they do have in common, though, is that neither one will be in my bedroom any time soon.

not a Jolie fan and don't think she is as beautiful as others do. Not that she isn't gorgeous, but I guess she isn't my type. Or whatever.
