I think because everyone leaves the lab , and I linger on alone , finishing stuff.
If anyone actually invites to a social activity , I would gladly join them , but nobody does .

There could be any number of reasons why you are being left out.
I used to have to move frequently for job-related reasons. I found that if you wait for people to accept and embrace you, you will move again before that ever happens. I hit upon throwing some sort of party shortly after I moved in, and inviting neighbors and co-workers, "just to introduce myself". It worked well enough for me, that I did it every time I moved. I ended up with more of a social life than I really wanted. But it certainly beat the alternative.
