I'm just up for no particular reason other than the inability to sleep. Listening to Iggy Pop "The Passenger". Prior playlist included:

"Love is Alive" by Gary Wright
"Rock Lobster" by the B-52's.
As you can see, I have no life.

I don't listen to much radio, but I did hear that once in the car.

I don't know who it was, but I could certainly do with never hearing it again.

I'm listening to "Rainy Night House" from "Ladies of the Canyon". An old friend introduced me to her music in about 1990.

9. that's a nice album

I say that about all her albums, except Mingus. That one has too much live conversation that's muddled and none of the speakers are identified, so it's hard to follow, and ultimately just an irritation. I suppose it conjers good memories for her though, so it has at least that purpose.
