(What's so funny 'bout) Peace Love and Understanding? |
|
Sittin' here listening to some Holmes Bros. and that is one of the tunes on the cd. Written by Nick Lowe and very true. What is so funny 'bout Peace, Love, and Understanding? Nothin' but it is a nice concept. Just waxing philosophical tonight. If you get a chance, listen to Sherman Holmes, Wendell Holmes, and Popsy Dixon; The Holmes Brothers. This particular cd has guest appearances by Roseanne Cash, Joan Osborne and Levon Helm.

4. used to do that song in the 80's and proud to say I was the one who insisted on it |

have you heard the Holmes Brothers version of Beast Of Burden? Would've never thought anyone could do a better version than the original, but for me its a toss-up.
