1. My bedroom poster car as well.
Not many of them around/on the road these days. Lucky vision.

16. GET OUT OF MY BRAIN.
I had a 6' poster of one on my wall as a kid.

You officially creep me out with the brainshare.

2. That sounds like a wardrobe malfunction
"Oh no! This Lamborghini is so skimpy that my Countach is showing!"

4. I remember a friend that restored cars
and he had an Espada. I probably have some Super-8 footage of it somewhere. I'll have to get that stuff converted to DVD someday.

He also had several rare and one-of-a-kind Lancias, such as this one: Lancia-Nardi Blue Ray I
:D

So, was the Countach taking cloverleafs at 70+ mph or were they driving it like they didn't know the first thing about ground-effect? ;)

17. It was getting washed
I must note that I live in the car wash center of Chicago. There are about eight within a mile.

5. Coincidentally, I saw one this past Thursday
Nifty set of wheels.

Also saw one of these just a few minutes before that:

8. That's a 1979 LP400S Countach, btw.
(assuming it's real and not just a very good replica)

I think, based on the size of the front side fender parking lights.

If so, it's also a Series 2, based on the wheels.

I'm a wealth of worthless exotic car knowledge, I know.

9. The consensus among the car freaks at the show was "It's real"
My knowledge of such things is very limited, however.

I was thinking of getting one for running errands when my 2003 Impala is in the shop.

10. What I can see of the top of the dash, it's real.
It's usually what the fabricators and Fiero modifiers fuck up or don't bother with. That big "box" that held all the gauges and the steering column looks dead on.

11. I took about eight shots of it, but none of them show the dash any clearer
I have a shot of the rear of the car, if that would help...?

12. Yes, I think you should post those pics as well.
Not because I'm not positive that it's real, but because we can never have enough Countach pictures.

BTW, did you know "Countach" (as I've been told) is regional Italian for "hot damn" in regards to a pretty woman.

14. That 5000S badge is odd.
Might be a Euro spec car, or the front was changed a tad.

Still, God what a beautiful car.

15. My sons really liked it, the 5 year old especially
He noted that it was the first car he'd ever seen that was shorter than he is.

Has some damage, though....

7. I got taken for a ride
in a Lamborghini when it was used in a TV show for which I was writing. A black convertible. Pain in the ass to get into and out of.

Otherfuckingworldly experience. Scared the hell out of me.

But it was really cool.................

The link says it all. No good smashed up pictures for the morbid though. This is about all you get:

Someone Commented in a messageboard post:
I like the picture of the tire, it's like the newspaper picture of a shoe, because a picture of the body is too horrible to print.

24. Yeah I saw one of those last year,
and in the same week I saw a Ferrari, a BMW M5, and a Ford GT. I don't know what the fuck was happening that week, but it was awesome. Oh I saw a Bricklyn around that time too.

Yay, good cars.
