6. I'm not a PETA hater, and I certainly don't hate individual members.

I understand that many of their statements and campaigns are intentionally outré in order to make people think about the treatment of animals. It's a marketing thing, in my opinion.

I do occasionally kill mosquitoes if they land on me to take my blood; I consider it self-defense and I don't apologize for it. I'm allergic to a pretty wide variety of insect stings and if there's a big karmic freight bill in my future for having defended myself, so be it.
