Top Gear's The Stig 'unmasked' as......
You'll have to click on the link to find out!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/5599899/Top-Gears-The-Stig-unmasked-as-Michael-Schumacher.html

The Stig's real identity has always been a closely guarded secret at the BBC show and many people believe that the white overalls and helmet are shared by several drivers.

__________ revealed himself as one of them when the Stig took off his trademark helmet during an interview with presenter Jeremy Clarkson after the audience urged him to show them his face.

Clarkson jokingly pretended not to recognise __________ and asked him what his name was before he became famous as the Stig, before excitedly shouting to the audience: "It's ________________!"

1. James May!!!!!
Captain Slow is Our Tame Racing Driver!

At least it might as well have been "unmasked" as being him.

Although a lot of people will take MS as gospel. (They actually use several drivers.) I think they just wanted to get on top of it to stop all the speculation that's been running rampant in the press. The odd thing is, by the time they filmed this bit (earlier in the week), the media fuss had died down--it was more fervent in April and May.

On edit: I was concerned that MG Jr. (5) would be disappointed to find out who the Stig was--kind of like telling him there's no Santa--but he was SOOOOO exited, squirming on the couch and clapping his hands in anticipation. I was glad to see that his finding out there was a person under the helmet (instead of a phantom or an alien) didn't dampen his enthusiasm for the Stig and his driving one bit.

4. Strangely enough, Stig is what a couple of friends call me.
I wasn't the driver, however. :)
