I witnessed a car accident on the way to work today, and it really rattled me.

It was at a busy intersection where, if the light catches you, you have to wait a long time because there are lights allowing people to make left turns, in addition to the regular lights.

An SUV went when the light turned green, and hit the side of a delivery truck which was about the third or fourth car making a left turn after the light went red on him.

I don’t think anyone was injured because luckily they were both big vehicles.

Just a reminder to me, and anyone else who wants it, how quickly things like this can happen.

1. My dear raccoon!
Yeah, those can be so scary...

I'm glad you weren't injured, or involved really...

I really hate it when a whole string of vehicles run the red lights. It's unbelievably rude...

3. I saw an accident just like that a few years ago.
exactly like that it sounds like. Couldn't believe my eyes. HOW the hell did he not SEE the intersection, the lights? I was rattled by it too. There was nothing the car he hit coulda done to avoid it.
