It's pretty obvious Ollie is George Washington, but I have no idea who Fletcher is supposed to be. If I know Burr Tillstrom's humor I'm sure Fletcher is someone not even remotely connected to George. Poor guy always got his holidays mixed up...

Fletcher Rabbit played Columbus and sang "I am the Captain of the Pinafore..." while he was sailing to America. He got mixed up a lot, but Fletcher helped out the Easter Bunny.
