I'm grateful for my children - I have exactly the kind of relationships with them that I always dreamed of. Mutual respect, unconditional love, and appreciation. They fill my heart.

I am grateful for my hard working husband who is completely devoted to his family.

I am grateful that I live in a peaceful home that is simple, uncluttered and rich with beauty and nature.

I am grateful for my two dogs who remind me that it is possible to be happy when you have very little.

I am grateful that I love what I do for a living.

Anyone else?

1. I am grateful for indoor plumbing and stand in the shower loving every second of hot water

I am also grateful for plug-in irons and can just imagine how the old flat irons must have caused so many burns.

I am especially grateful for my two kitties whom I love very much even though my heart still longs for the kittie that preceded them.

3. I count my blessings every day.
Edited on Sun Jun-28-09 12:19 AM by Suich
I have a roof over my head, food on my table, am in relatively good health, and am able to pay my bills.

That's an overview...compared to a lot of others, I am, indeed, blessed.

Nice post, Happyhippychick!

:hi:

8. What a great idea! Mine is a long list, but here are a few:
I'm grateful for a partner who makes me laugh, cooks dinner every other night, and is the kindest, gentlest person I've ever known.
I'm grateful for The Wiley and Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger, a clown, a cuddler and a legend in his own mind.
I'm grateful for the white, deep pink and fuchsia potted impatiens growing outside my studio window.
I'm grateful that I enjoy my work and am pretty good at it.
I'm grateful for and honored by the trust of my friends.

And, to dispel any suspicion that I'm unselfish, I'm extremely grateful for our Nespresso espresso maker. :7

9. Thank you for posting this thread.

I am grateful for the most wonderful husband any woman could ever wish for. He treats me like a queen and works his ass off to provide for his family.

I am grateful for my little devil dog Piglet. She is truly unique and taking care of her was a promise to my father when he was dying so I am glad to honor that.

I am grateful I live in a country with socialized medicine and I don't have to worry about being sick and not being able to pay for my care.

I am grateful for my family and friends. They are my life. I am grateful to have a roof over my head and money to pay for groceries and a little left over for extras.

Life is good.
