Why can't I win Powerball just once in my life?
The closest I came to winning was 3 numbers on several occasions. Worse...why do people I know win? Why do I buy tickets knowing I will never ever win but live on a teenie weenie high for several hours or days, depending on when I buy the ticket?

This screams volumes about my personality which has also gotten me into hot water lately because I told someone at a meeting that AA was not Enabler's Anonymous.

My head is exploding due to moving again. Yeah...again. When I was a kid, I never listed Gypsy as something I wanted to be but it certainly is what I have become. Gypsy's don't need Powerball wins.

And why is that that every time I do spell check, I have "occasions" spelled wrong? Every single time! Is it "spelled wrong", or "spelt" wrong?

I was in the Christmas Tree store today and 15 seconds after I walked through the door, I forgot where I was until I saw the $3.99 candles that smell like crap.

I have to go pack some more and try to calm Kamere down. His meowing sounds like a screaming banshee and he is more pissed off than I am.

14. I had that one happen
a few weeks ago.

And once, it was megabucks, I had the first several numbers in a row right. My boss was reading them off to me. I started sweating bullets. And then...sadly...I won $2.

3. My son's SO played the same numbers for a month or so.
Last week she changed them.

Yep.

Her old numbers paid $100K.

Oh, well.

The universe's way of telling you something. what, I don't know.
Man, I'd have a huge resentment over that. God's name would be mud.

7. I'm not sure, it could go both ways.
I don't play very often, but when I do it's always random numbers.

I figured that if Fate wanted me to have a big pile 'o dough I'd have had it by now.

11. I'm never going to win
I'm starting to think it's because I've never bought a lottery ticket.

Before Powerball came to Texas, some guys at work were taking a collection to have someone buy their tickets out of state when Powerball got really high once. They asked me to buy in, and I declined. They told me I would be sorry if they hit the big one. I told them I would have to live with it. Well, come to find out they gave the money to a hairlipped idiot out at work who sent the money to his even bigger idiot son. It turns out the guy was an alcoholic and went out on the 3 day bender with the money instead of buying tickets. I still give them shit about it to this day.
