are made only of aluminum and sometimes aluminum reinforced with steel. No copper involved. So, if they survive, they will be sorely disappointed and maybe angry enough to get drunk and cut up live powerlines with industrial saws :P

the line was down for seven hours, but line crews didn't get to it yet because of all the other storm damage.

This guy was drinking all day staring at that damned line and the firemen milling around.
