1. They broke continuity...
I won't spoil it, but anal Simpsons fans like me will see it right away.

The show is still funny, but it's no longer funny in even a remotely intellectual way.

Besides, when it comes down to "You're in the matrix, Charlie Brown" and "A Matrix Christmas", you know they're clutching at straws.

4. They've broken it many times over the years
Especially regarding where the Simpsons live. :D The show's best years are past, unfortunately. :(

11. I agree...
...it's sad what has become of The Simpsons in recent years. I don't even bother tuning in anymore.

However... I'm in heaven with these Futurama DVD sets, and I can tell you're a fan as well from your username.
