This blew me away. I was driving in this morning and listening to a local classic rock station. The station manager had a spot where he talked about the current legislation regarding what is not to be said on the air. Here is what they put on their site:
We wanted to play "Darkside of the Moon" in it's entirety since it is the #1 album voted by YOU!! But we are unable to since the album contains the song "Money", which is deemed indecent by the U.S. Government since it contains the "S" word. Current pending legislation calls for a fine of $275,000 if we play that song. If you don't agree with this, let your voice be heard.....
Contact your Ohio State Senators
Mike Dewine & George Voinovich and tell them your
thoughts on public radio and the new indecency laws
that are being pushed through Congress.
