MJ was no saint. MJ was no sinner. MJ was human
He did nothing for pop music, except underscore the cliches a little more.

He did nothing for dance, except take what was already happening in urban America and blast it on a big screen.

We do not know if he was a pedophile or not - everything got settled out of court so we will never know.

At the same time, he did give to charity. A lot.

But did he bring anything new to the table? I'm sorry, but he did not.

1. He did inspire many of musicians to take up music, despite the genre
Although not an innovater, he was a multi-decade, multi-generational music superstar that had a one top single after another for decades on end.
