Speaking of liver,I cannot eat the stuff.
Wrap it in bacon and smother it with fried onions and I still can't do it.

Right there at the table. If someone sneaks some liver into my food it all goes flying across the room.

7. My Hungarian friends loved chicken livers and gizzards.
They'd cook them with lots of paprika and cream. I couldn't do it.

8. My mother tried her hardest to get me to eat liver. I'd just eat the bacon
and then go on strike. I hate, hate the taste of liver.

9. It's easy to overcook
At which point it turns into shoe leather. Medium rare at the most.

10. YUCK!!!
My mother, god knows why would make it once a year. A tortuous evening would ensue with someone crying, someone gagging, and one of us getting our hair yanked. I got smart, my brothers would go into the bathroom and spit it out, and of course get in trouble. I being the oldest and craftiest would chew it up into mush stuff it in my cheeks and go in my room and spit it into my Quaker Oat containers I would save for my hamsters. I found my stash, about 6 mos later, like beef jerky by then.

11. My dear Swede!
I'm with you! The ONLY way I can eat any form of liver is liver sausage...

Forget it otherwise...

15. I love liver, as long as it's cooked, so there.
And I don't need any frigging fava beans and chianti, either. Now what type of Democrat does that make me?

17. Ugh -
it sucks. In every possible permutation, liver sucks.

And when you stop and think about what its function is, WHY WOULD YOU EAT SOMETHING THAT IS NOTHING BUT A COLLECTION OF TOXINS?

I'd choose death by starvation before I'd eat liver (which really should be called "deather," as far as I'm concerned)......................
