19. Well, my Golden Retriever was the sweetest animal in the world!

Unfortunately, the ex-husband got custody of him. He brought the dog to the marriage, I was a mere stepmother (but not a wicked one!)

Then there's Miss Patty: a Bombay kitty who is so affectionate, so lovey-dovey she must have human contact. She cuddles up next to a person, purrs herself to sleep, and has the lushest fur you've ever stroked. I had her for 5 years, but now she lives with my dad and has kept him company since Mom died. She's kept him occupied and far less lonely.

So I can't choose. Love them both for different reasons!

While I do love me some kitty cats, dogs are the bestest. I will always have dogs. It will be nice to also have cats around the house, but dogs will always be part of my home. Always.
