3. I was fine...
I worked so hard in the heat that I think I lost a gallon of sweat.

I thought exercise was supposed to help this shit.

Now I'm a fucking mess.

Panic attack or depression flare up...I don't know.

I fucking hate it.

This can't be understood unless it is experienced.

6. no
heat is dangerous
it can throw your whole system off, hell it can kill you (you could ask many of the dead migrants that have tried to cross the desert around here in the last few years, but they are well, dead)

I can't take it either. Really. I have to be careful because it is so easy to over do - the damage comes after you realize you are already too hot. If you have any mass (like I unfortunately have in excess) it can take quite a while to cool down. I get digestive problems for several days when I get too hot - if you have metabolic issues it would only make sense to have an effect. Exercise is good, getting overheated is NOT. And you can get overheated just sitting there!

Add emotional/psych problems on and I really sympathize. I don't share serious anxiety with you but heat is a problem. Be careful.

8. I wasn't worried because I never stopped sweating...
but I think the sudden water loss fucked up my meds or something...it was so sudden.

Thanks Kali...

10. your core can get hot before you stop sweating
may not be a problem for many people but that is all it takes for some (me! probably you)
and obviously a lot of sweating can throw electrolytes off
one symptom of heat stress is erratic behavior so there you go with the psych symtom connection too
have a banana and a little salt with your water or a half gatorade, pedialyte or whatever (some have sugar)

this time of year swimming is the best way to get exercise

feeling a little better after cooling off a bit?

26. Yeah. Be verrry careful sweating a lot when on certain meds. Some, like Lithium, only
needs a little nudge to go from therapeutic to toxic doses. (Which is why I stay away from it and make due with a much less effective drug. :( )

37. Me too
I just have to accept that I need to be on meds for the rest of my life. Situational depression is one thing, biology is another. I've got fucked-up neurotransmitters or sumpin'.
