Would you rather be a star player for a losing team, or a pine-rider for a champion? |

I would want to feel like I was helping out my team, but on the other hand I would want my team to be successful. I really don't know.

2. gimme the pine, because |
|
pinch hitters and defensive replacements help the team get there, too.

3. that was a weird dream i had |
|
back when i was in HS i had a feature-length dream of being like the 5th-string Tailback for Nebraska in a national championship game...we were winning so i was pretty happy despite not getting into the game even though i made it a point to stand next to Tom Osborne

4. yup, if you're in the dugout for the winning game 7 or whatnot |
|
there's a good chance you were there when they needed you, so they keep you around. Lenny Harris made a career out of being a pinch hitter, has the most home runs for a pinch hitter and was on the 20030 Marlins World Series team.
