The new Dallas Cowboys Stadium will offer $90 pizzas
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/The-new-Dallas-Cowboys-Stadium-will-offer-90-pi?urn=nfl,180810
The colossal new Dallas Cowboys Stadium is living proof that everything is bigger in Texas. The menu in the luxury suites proves that things there are more expensive too.

Those enjoying a Cowboys game from a luxury suite at the new stadium will have to shell out $90 for pizza and $66 for a 12-pack of domestic beer, reports Steven Sipple of the Lincoln Journal World. Ninety bucks for pizza? That's almost as much of a rip-off as Roy Williams.

:eyes:
And I thought the Redskins were bad.

1. "enjoying a Cowboys game" doesn't make sense.
The DALLAS Cowboys, right? Who watches them, short those that like watching a team take a beating.

would be if they were LOSING.

6. $90 pizza?? I'd doubt even the most obsessive and grudge-holding DUer would pay $90 --
to deliver a pizza to their most dearest enemy! (Except perhaps for the gilded-latte liberals, with cash to slosh around. If we could get tombstoned for $90 bucks, I guess I would start watching out for the foodies/beer snobs. They tend to be financially buff.)

15. I'm sure they'll be able to deduct those expenses off their taxes.
Edited on Wed Aug-05-09 01:04 PM by Wapsie B
Translation: the little people will end up paying for it in the end.
I've got no doubt at all that this can be filed as a business expense.

25. Bingo!
That's exactly what will happen. That's why they know they can get away with charging those prices.

16. Ah come on, Jerry Jones has to make his money somehow
Even though he talked the city of Arlington into building his $1 billion stadium for him, he's still got to get his money from something. It might as well be $90 pizzas.

32. Dallas is one of the most unrelievedly nouveau riche cities in the country.
The more expensive, the better. And it helps to be seen eating a $90 pizza, so everybody will know just how riche you are...
