1. Cell phone storage - why else?
No shit - I have a picture of a guy with his cell phone in his ear lobe hole.

2. they honestly really freak me out I can deal with most face piercings,
but those ear disks I find really repulsive. Just, yuk. "Do your ears hang low, do they wobble to and fro, can you tie them in a knot? Can you tie them in a bow? Can you throw them over your shoulder like a Continental soldier (not sure of the lyrics there)? Do your earsssss hannnnnnng low?"

I don't see how their lobes could ever recover.

15. I was lead to believe that the "continental soldier" ...
... would be the French foreign legion, who wore those hats with flaps to protect their necks from sunburn. I can't remember where I heard that, though.

5. I like how it looks.
And as for going back to normal it depends on how large you stretch them to and how resilient youur earlobes are. It varies from person to person.

8. My son has them
at one point he had them stretched to 1 inch. He has let them close down to 1/2". I doubt if they will ever fully close.
My daughter is starting to stretch hers, I hope she doesn't go too far.

24. they can probably just trim the loop off, flush with the upper part of the lobe.
Might be a little odd shaped but it would work.}(

25. A plastic and reconstructive surgeon could probably turn them
back into a "normal" (whatever that means) looking earlobe. At a price, of course.

26. Dr 90210 had an episode where the guy wanted to fix his earlobes
The guy had massive discs in and outgrew that phase but was left with these big gaping holes in his droopy ears. They fixed them up but it just seemed like alot of hassle.
