Why I love my new therapist |
I've been in therapy for about 12 years. They have all focused on what is wrong with me and how to change it. This one though, focuses on what is good in my life, people, thoughts, talents, and we talk about how to grow on it and make the best of who I am. I am not broken, needing to be fixed. I experience the world in a way other than a non-mentally ill person, so lets make the best of it.

2. I've only been seeing her three months |
and once a month at that, due to insurance problems. She always asks about my art and writing and is excited to see/ read it. She says she can always tell how I am really doing by how much and what I create. She is fascinated by my new feminist essays
