I just called the eye doctor to order contacts for my daughter, and
the secretary went on and on about how wonderful my three kids are. I don't even know the woman.

It's possible that I've done something right with my babies, and I'm posting because I'm proud. No response required.

3. Don't you just LOVE hearing stuff like that:)
retores your faith :loveya:

I sat next to a woman at a football banquet once and when she found out whicj one was my son, she said"

Steve is such a generous kid.. I chaperoned a field trip and he used the money you gave him for lunch, to buy food for the homeless people by the pier"..

That incident had happened about 6 years earlier, when he was in 5th grade, when she was the classroom aide..and of course he never told me:

He's 30 now, and still lets the guys "wash his windshield" with their greasy rag, and then gives them a couple of bucks :)

5. I'm responding anyway...
:P

You SHOULD be proud. You are a wonderful mother, obviously. You have done a fantastic job raising your kids. Hell, I'M proud of them! B-) It sounds like they are exceptional young people and great American citizens. The only thing is, none of this surprises me. There's no reason why your kids shouldn't be as wonderful as you... :loveya::hug:
