My 92 year old hard of hearing mother just phoned me from the nursing home.

She screams into the phone.

She says...LEFTY?

I have to scream back because she can't hear...WHAT?

WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

NOTHING.

CAN YOU COME AND SEE ME?

NOW?

YES.

OK...WHY?

I HAVE A ROAST BEEF SANDWICH FOR YOU.

FROM WHERE?

THEY BROUGHT IT FROM THE KITCHEN FOR LUNCH...I DIDN'T WANT IT.

OK...I'LL BE RIGHT THERE. (it's only a 6 minute drive)

So I get there, and guess what the roast beef sandwich is wrapped in?

A disposable diaper (a fresh one of course).

So I'm staring at it, trying to get over the horrible head movies that the sight is conjuring up.

I ate the sandwich, and it was delicious.

As I kissed my mom goodbye, I put my mouth up to her ear and said..."Next time, don't wrap the sandwich in a goddamn diaper".

She started to laugh hysterically.

13. Oh that is so cute. I remember one time my grandmother was on

pills to help her incontinence. They were new and she, a former nurse, stopped taking them because as she said "I'm worried about long term kidney damage". She was 98 years old at the time.
