4. One of the dumbest shows around.
Good riddance. It doesn't deserve to be on the same channel as "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report."

14. Hey, it takes great strength and intestinal fortitude to be a Cubs fan.
That's why Cubs fandom is not for wimps. :P

28. I believe that you're both correct.
Shows don't come much dumber, but the performances on Reno 911! were magnificent, more than making up for weak writing. I file the show next to Christopher Guest's mockumentaries, which share that improv feel--and in which really twisted characters similarly reveal new depths of neurosis with every line.

23. To be fair Reno 911 did lose 3 key cast members this season.
I'm surprised they were allowed to do a 6th season.

And yeah it sucks when Dangle gets shitcanned but horseshit continues to rule the airwaves.

that goofy show. And you can't keep up that level of silliness forever.

19. You're right.
When this season started and Clementine left, you knew it was all down hill from there.

Not to say the show didn't have a nice run and the reruns will certainly be enjoyable (my favorite episode is still the Halloween one from season one).

20. I picked up seasons 1-3 at Wal-Mart for...
10 bucks or so. Commentaries alone are worth it-- didja know Dangle's real-life wife plays some of the nuttier parts.

My favorite is the one when they see Garcia with a woman and think it's his fiancee. Or maybe it's the one where they have the contest to see who gets the tickets to the execution.

Or maybe it's... Shit! There's so many of them.

22. That and Futurama reruns are all I'm left with. Now what is there?
Okay, Futurama's coming back, but South Park? Funny at first, but quickly became mired in unfunny, pseudo-libertarian ignorance. Comedy Central Presents? Funny occasionally, for ten minutes at a stretch. Reruns of Scrubs? I sobered up a long time ago, and that's the only way I can guess anyone enjoys that show. Roasts? Five good jokes and 500 bad ones, and they did a top ten funniest roast jokes the other day I could watch instead. Movies? THey play comedies, yes, but rarely do they play anything funny.

Granted, The Daily Show and Colbert Report are still on, but without them (and Futurama reruns) there's 23 hours left to fill, which they do very poorly.

24. Yeah, I haven't watched South Park since about 1999. Their smug-liberal bashing got old.
The only time I would watch it now is the few minutes leading up to Daily Show or Reno 911.

The other thing I can't stand is how the South Park guys talk shit about Family Guy, meanwhile South Park revolves around poop and "ball-sucking".

26. It does get old...
I can laugh at some of the stuff liberals do. I thought the ManBearPig episode was a classic. However, when you're constantly hit over the head with it, it gets old.

Look at Family Guy and The Simpsons, two shows that lean-left, but don't spend entire episodes going after the right. They might have their jabs, but it isn't nearly as obvious as South Park.
