I was a little kid, every time I tried on a pair of shoes at the shoe store, I had to stand with both feet in an X ray machine so my parents could see if the shoes fit.

But I admit to loving the gel shoe inserts!

I have a pair of high heeled bootlets that had no padding inside whatso ever. The inserts make them very comfortable.
