I like wolves a lot better than I like governors generally and I like them a lot better than specific governors particularly.

Palin is that odd cartoon walrus who loves to swim but hangs a hammock on the patio anyway.

In a concurrent thread on DU there is report of Jackson eluding authorities at the hospital, strapping a jet pack to his shoulders, flying to Gary, Indiana where he was born to reconnect one last time with the place of his origin before flying on to the far north to live with Eskimos.

Very likely he's dressed in sequinned wings and clutching his crotch en route.

This strikes me as an entirely plausible set of circumstances and by no means an exaggeration of the usual day-to-day life of Michael Jackson. The jet pack is the only questionable variable. The wings are likely real.

I want smart people to be prominent in public discourse and on that count, Nader shines. I'm far less enthusiastic about him as a presidential candidate. He seems 'terribly informed,' in a way that annoys more than illuminates.
