Overkill. I love splattering an enemy all over the landscape.

1. I like the fact that my kid has actually learned quite a lot from some of them...
Like Call of Duty and Spore.
The games give him an opportunity to apply information he stores, so he has added incentive to learn.

type rpgs, like Zelda, God of War, etc where you have to look high/low to figure out how to further the game. Game play mechanics though, I would love to have all games come standard with the ability to change the control buttons around, the revert x/y axis, and the ability to go from FP view to Third person, like Oblivion Elder Scrolls does.

edited to add:I'd love for all games to come with a standard save option, where you can save the game no matter where you are currently, and not hunting high/low trying to get to the next save point, I hate save points.

4. I liked the alternate ending you get when you finish Halo II on Legendary.
A lone marine and Elite are fighting as the Pillar of Autumn's fusion reactor begins to overload.

The marine says, "Oh, sh...". Then he turns to the Elite and says, "This is it baby....hold me."

The two embrace, and the Elite's hand travels down the small of the marine's back to rest on his ass cheek as the ship detonates.
