The New DU Dating Forum

Here's the idea:

No individual can post a thread in the New DU Dating Forum. Who can post a thread? Keep reading.

An individual DU member sends a Private Message to another DU member. It's a special kind of message, just as a poll is a special kind of thread. For this special kind of message, there can be only one recipient, and it's marked as intended for public viewing, unlike regular Private Messages, which are to remain private.

The recipient has two options: veto the post (for whatever reason: content, style, etc) or cause it to be posted in the New DU Dating Forum.

Thus, each new thread is like a baby. It takes two people to make one.

Would you be in favor of such a forum on DU, oppose its existence on DU, or not care?
