Poll question: Do you live closer to the Earth's equator than one of its poles?
In other words, is your latitude greater or less than 45°?

At 47°N, I'm actually closer to the north pole than the equator. And on days like today (low sixties, wearing a sweatshirt) I can believe it.

I once lived about 5 miles south of the 45th parallel, so I was close.
