Tavernertavern serves: ValleyBrew Uberhoppy in a bottle!!!
Edited on Sat Aug-15-09 05:16 PM by Taverner

Yum!

This excellent Double (Triple?) IPA used to only be available at the Stockton, CA brewpub.

Not any longer!

I know the brewer of this beer, and it is amazing. Imagine an IPA that consisted more of the floral hops than the bittering ones. Granted, its still bitter - but there is more emphasis on the grassy, cannabis like nature of the hop. It, in short, is an ode to the hop, in liquid form.

Oh, and imagine said beer being 11%, but tasting like 0%

1. a single tear rolls down my face.....
Dude! I live for hopps.

For I have been to the mountaintop and put a hurting on my liver in Belgium, Germany and Holland, drinking any dubbel, trippel, or any other "el" that could be found. I sustain my NEED by Dale's Pale Ale (one hoppy mutha of a pale ale).

You must tell me about how/ where to get. I can grab the Greyhoud to Stockton from Jacksonville later in the week, provided we are not washed away by Ana or TS Bill, if needed.

congrats on the fine chilled bottle of glory, enjoy him and his brothers in good health.

2. It's worth tracking down
But I wouldn't take a bus out here just to bask in its glory - let me know and I can send you a bottle.

Where do you live, BTW?

Perhaps we could trade bomber for bomber?

4. True, but you do have Cigar City
And they make some excellent brews.

You guys also have access to Terrapin in Athens, GA. They make a great Rye IPA.

AND, you guys have Knightley Spirits in Orlando. They have some mighty fine beers in that store.

6. It's very good
Smooth, but hoppy

Clean, but not flavorless

Dry, but not offensive

It's a beautiful beer
