Mamma Mia!
I can't hold it back any longer...I've wanted to post this for quite a while.

Is anyone else obsessed with this play/movie/soundtrack? I'm amazed. I've never been into theater, etc., but now feel like a whole new world of expression (based on the absurd) has opened up to me.

Do I have no taste? Is it good? Why do I like it so much? And...is it just me?

1. It is so very tacky, and so very bad, that it's really entertaining.
I really enjoy the movie, partly because I like ABBA's music, but partly because the movie really entertaining for exactly what it is, a really badly made film. It's easy to sit back and laugh and sing throughout the whole movie. :)

2. Good. I'm too young to know ABBA pre-Mamma Mia! So it probably doesn't seem as
awful as it may to others.

3. Have you seen Muriel's Wedding?
One of the reasons I like it so much is because of all the ABBA music.

5. I really like the movie - haven't seen the play

the setting is so gorgeous and it's great campy fun with a bit of Shakespearean-type confusion thrown in. I never really cared about Abba's music before, but they managed to fit it into the plot pretty well.

6. Pierce Brosnan's singing in the movie was hard for me to take.
I love ABBA and I loved Muriel's Wedding.
