1. Checking in here
However the Cardinals won a NFL Championship in 1947. However I think the rightful champions of 1925 is the Pottsville Maroons though officially it belongs to the Cardinals. Pottsville was clearly the better team that year.

2. Chargers fan here
0-1 in our only Super Bowl appearance, XXIX against the 49ers. The Niners were an amazingly good team - I don't think anyone could have beat them.

In the pre-SB era, the Chargers did win the AFL Championship against the Boston Patriots in 1963. Back then, the two leagues did not play each other, so there were two separate pro football championships.

The Super Bowl was a marketing gimmick to pit the two separate champions against each other, the first one being played in 1967. Then the two leagues merged in the fall of 1970. So only 4 Super Bowls put the two leagues in direct competition with each other.

It became a marketing gimmick that eventully exceeded anyone's wildest dreams. The hype has overshadowed the game to the point of parody.

(but a parody I'd like them to win, lol)

10. Seattle Seahawks: The Al Gores of Super Bowl XL
That was such blatant thievery on the part of the head referee, I wouldn't be surprised to hear he was on the Diebold payroll. :evilfrown:

13. They won with Bobby Layne in the pre-Super Bowl era
So it counts as last millenia.
