6. If it was in Paso Robles
then it wasn't too big. I'm 20 crow miles from Paso.

9. Actually, if you look at the link, they said it was
eleven miles from Lake Nacimiento, which is close to Paso. I probably felt it more because my mobile is up on piers and it rocks more than an ordinary house with a foundation.

8. I wonder how Governor Groper(tm) will handle it...

Bush* had betrayed him once before, and he's still dumb enough to think Bush* will help him in the future. :eyes:

The money is gone, man... Either in California or in the US. It won't take much to shatter the US economy; who needs peak oil to do it? California, should the Big One(tm) occur, might be the disaster that ends our cozy empire as we know it.

Edit: Grammar

10. Hopefully there won't be much damage.
So far there have been no damage reports, but it does take longer here to get news because of limited resources.

11. sure did.
I have that link on my desktop... so I can verify that I'm not imagining things. Just when I stop with the flash backs - we get one like this. I need to get some of that 'stop-fray' stuff for my nerves!

Hi Brook. :hi: Glad to hear you are okay. Have a nice St. Paddy's day drink for your nerves. I'm thinking I will too.

17. Hiya.
Thanks and I'm taking your advice. In fact, I'm on my second one. Just checked
the earthquake site - we've had 24 today. A 3.0 just a short while ago. I didn't feel that one. That must mean gin and tonic keeps
the damned things away, eh? :)

14. They just mentioned it on the news.
Now they are saying that it was nine miles north of San Simeon instead of Nacimiento. This explains why Brook felt it more than anyone. I'm hoping that it's an aftershock to the December earthquake and not a prequake on another fault.
