My great uncle Andy died today

He said some horrible things about AIDS and I told him off 18 years ago. Now I feel bad about telling him off. He was 90 and died wanting to come home from the nursing home.

He was conservative but he took my Grandmother in during WW2.I am very thankful that he did that.

3. Try to not feel guilty. Sometimes people, even loved ones, do need to be told off

when they say hateful, hurtful things. And they and all of us, will die some day and that doesn't change the fact that people need to be called on being hateful or whatever. I'm sorry he didn't get to come home for the end of his life, and you and any and all who loved him in spite of whatever human failings he may have had, have my condolences. I hope, and believe he's in a place of peace and light now, and is forgiven for those human faults and frailties. ( edited only for putting the word "of" where I intended it)

21. That's what kind of pissed me off

I mentioned the Denver aids walk to my Mother and He was all saying..I'll never donate to aids causes..they all get what is coming to them..

What pisses me off was his lack of common sense...if me and my Mother are going to walk to raise money, then it's obvious that we or someone we love has the disease..but he couldn't keep his mouth shut and had to spout off. His idiocy overpowered his intelligence.
