As SkyM mentioned, I was camping - went to southern Alberta and Montana. You've got a beautiful - and friendly - state there. Y'all were much friendlier than Canadian campers, who were pretty reserved for the most part. And more helpful, too. Travel Alberta was an embarrassment. One information centre was closed early Friday afternoon (right by the border, too. Brilliant) Another gave us wrong directions.

Not that I'm ageist, but it would be nice if they hired someone old enough to acquire a driver's license. :eyes:

The elderly couple who were holding the fort at the Shelby, Montana info centre all but made us supper and a bed for the night - they were remarkable representives of their town, and state. I got enough information for 3 trips, never mind one. I think she is a better internet researcher than I am. :D

Swimming in Lake McDonald, in Glacier National Park, was one of the highlights:





And I don't think I'll ever forget Going to the Sun highway. It's a loooooooooooooong way down. :scared: And there were areas where there was no guard rail. :scared: :scared:
