OK, Henry Rollins...just saw "Wrong Turn 2." Now I'm ready to see you in a GOOD horror flick.

"Wrong Turn 2" is basically "Wrong Turn" without Eliza Dushku, but the addition of Henry Rollins is the sole reason for my checking it out. Henry handles the "Schwarzenegger / Predator" role pretty well, but it's another one of those needlessly brutal, poorly-made Grade Z horror flicks that makes you wish Henry could hook up with George Romero or someone who knows how these kinds of movies should be made.

Also rented "28 Days Later"...which I have seen before...at the same time as "Wrong Turn 2." Would rather have seen Henry starring in THAT.

1. Ooh, I'll have to get that.
It doesn't exactly sound promising, but to be honest, I'd watch Alphabetical Listings II: Henry Rollins Reads the Los Angeles Phone Book.

2. Worth watching only for Henry. And, as I said, the potential of him in a better movie.
He really is a natural for this kind of film. I won;t give you any spoilers, but let's just say that one of the "Deliverance" types is just about to get him, and Henry gets him first...Rollins style.

:toast:

Rent it, though...for me, it was worth the $1.99 I paid at Blockbuster but I would have kicked my own ass if I'd bought a copy.

3. I'll see if I can get it from Redbox.
I'll watch almost anything for $1. Especially right now, I'm sick and barely able to get out of bed (yay laptop and wireless internet!) so I'm quite bored.

4. Wrong Turn (the first one) was surprisingly good...
..a solid harkening back to the prime 70's era of backwoods horror. I was pleasantly surprised by it. Not award winning material by any means but for a genre horror fan (which I am) it did the trick.

Oh, and Henry is looking ooooooold. Could still kick my ass, but old.
