SURVIVOR: Lex is a weasal... |

...and his eyes remind me of the 'tweaker' I had as a house mate about 10 years ago.

He is really the leader of his tribe. The last two people voted off were both kind of orchestrated by him. He wanted the two other Alpha Males gone: Colby and Ethan. And he did that brilliantly.
Both him and Boston Rob have been playing Survivor great up to this point. I'm wondering if they'll survive once the tribes merge though.
Don't worry: They'll sniff Lex out and probably out him. He's too big of a threat and they know that.

5. I guess from the promo I saw they're gonna... |
|
...shake up the tribes next week. They have to do something. Mogo Mogo will never win any challenge otherwise. There's madness in Lex's eyes, I tell ya....

Kathy is the alpha male on that tribe!
Oh and I loved when Rupert accused Rob of arrogance. This after Rupert said he was the best at something 5 times in the first half hour. I thought it must have been sarcasm--I was almost in stitches because of it--but then I remembered Rupert lives in an irony-free universe.

Crap. I fell asleep and woke up just as Ethan was picking up his torch for snuffing. :( I hope it's going to re-air again in the next couple of days.

but you didn't miss much. It was one of those episodes that just kind of drags along. Nothing much dramatic happened imo.

But the CBS site has a full recap of the episode.
Lamest immunity challenge since the stilts in Season 4.

If Rob was in Lex's tribe, he would have been gone by now. Unfortunately, it looks like Rob has the numbers to win.

6. I hated to see Ethan go |
|
he seemed like a really nice guy and was classy right to the end, unfortunately he just wasn't weaselly enough to go up against seasoned players. Lex at least kept his promise to Ethan and let him know he was going instead of blindsiding him.

14. As easy as Ethan is on the eyes... |
|
...I've always found him singularly charmless. Maybe it's because he is such a sore loser and he loses so many challenges so we constantly get to see what a sore loser he is. I think he's the most beautiful man in the world but he has a dark aspect about him. I kinda won't miss him.

I can't stand Rob and I hope his tribe realizes he's playing them all...even Amber. I think he's the snake, not Lex.
Big Tom's another one who needs to go, in my opinion.
Survivor - my guilty pleasure! :D

I keep hoping Tom and Rupert wake up and realise that RobMber are Evil, but it's not going to happen.

12. Amber isn't evil - she just latches on with losers |

In Australia it was Jenna that did all the thinking for her

Amber is much more active this time, and is, imo, as evil as Rob.

|
That guy has got to go - seriously. Rupert better wise up and organize him, Jenna, Tom and Alicia or they will all be voted out one at a time by that idiot from Boston. His accent alone drives me NUTS!!!

so I don't know anything about Lex, but I thought it was cool that he told Ethan that he was being voted out. They all know that you don't really have any friends while the game is on.
Is the show on Wednesday or Thursday next week?

I now believe Lex is a weasel of the highest order, but not because he had Ethan voted off...that was just game play. I was with Lex up until the voting. He made a big deal out of the fact that he and Ethan were friends outside of the game, how difficult it was for him to vote Ethan off, and I was OK with his logic. The reason I think he's a weasel, though, is because of the comments he made when he cast his vote.
Something like, 'anyone can win with dignity and grace, but its far more difficult to lose with that same dignity and grace. Lets see how you do'.
I can get with having to vote off a personal friend (tribal council is almost always about making the tough choice) but to say what he said, IMO, was only meant to be a slap in the face. Some fucking friend. :eyes:
