It was my first eighth grade dance.

I did not know how to dance. So, in my bedroom, I put an album on and danced for hours in front of a full length mirror that was hung on the door. I danced and danced, until I got my confidence up.

So, I go to the dance, and I am too shy to ask any of the girls to dance.

Finally, this girl named Joanne walks up to me and says "Would you like to dance"?

I said yes.

So I ran home and danced in front of the mirror for the rest of the night.

1. Joanne, in a fit of frustration at LFP's rejection...

ran to the bar next door to drown her sorrow in liquor. The bartender told her he couldn't serve her alcohol, what with her being an eighth grader. She responded by cutting his arms off.
"Are you going to get me a damn beer now?" she screamed at the bar tender.
"Um, no, I don't have any arms," he replied, bleeding profusely.
It turns out, Joanne wasn't very bright.
