Sore throat worst part of a cold?

I came down with an awful sore throat yesterday. I swear the pain was absolutely excruciating! Today my sore throat has turned into plugged up sinuses so the cause of the sore throat was postnasal drainage into my throat, which my throat didn't take kindly to for sure. I would prefer the general malaise and stuffy feeling over a sore throat any day of the week. How about you? Also, do you find a sore throat to be the worst part of a cold and when you get a cold, does your thoat get to a 10/10 pain level?
