1. Some banks will do it for their customers for free. Others only if you are a "special"
customer.

Most kinkos and UPS stores have notaries and will do it for a charge.

Hope this helps.

:hi:

2. Most banks notarize documents for free for their customers.
Some will do it for a small fee. There are mobile notary services as well, if you can't get to your bank.

3. Some real estate agents and title companies
have notaries. Look for signs stating that they have a notary on premises. I don't know what state you are in but as a notary in DC, I am required by law to have a sign on my desk that states I am a notary and I have to notarize whatever is brought to me, provided of course that it's something I can notarize. There are rules about what I can and can't notarize. The fee is also set by law. I think that as a DC notary I cannot charge more than a few dollars for a notarization. Since I became a notary for the convenience of my office, charging is a moot point. Even when I notarize something personal for one of my colleagues, I don't charge. But check with your bank first before you look for another venue. Also, don't forget to bring a government issued photo ID. A notary, unless they know you personally, will need to verify your identity and probably record what he or she used to do so in her/his record book. I know that I am supposed to do that.

5. If you pay the fee, someone will Notorize it
With Banks, some banks won't charge if you're not a member, but if they do it's usually a few dollars

7. Depends on the bank.
Kinkos, the UPS store, real estate offices, and most banks will notarize documents for a fee. Your bank might do it for free.
