Space:1899

Space:1899

What would happen if you took an episode of Gerry Anderson's classic sci-fi series Space:1999 and treated it like a silent movie? Well, maybe something like this.

Produced by us (Ill-Conceived Productions) for a Space:1999 convention in 2000, and later included as a bonus feature on the excellent DVD "Space:1999 and UFO - The Documentaries" by Fanderson, the official Gerry Anderson Appreciation Society.

6. That's pretty good.

Maya's eyebrows always freaked me out as a kid. They reminded me of cinnamon-sugar crumbs you find on coffee cake.

Thanks for posting that!

8. Y2K failure, I see...

BTW: I loved "Space: 1999" (the first year, anyway) - note that the clips came from the second season, what with Maya and the different costumes and all...

Nice retro film effects applied...

9. I presume you'd get Barbara Bain in a bustle, and...
Martin Landau with a waxed, handlebar mustache.

Personally I'm holding out for a remake of "UFO" the TV series set in late Paleolithic Britain.

SHADO operates in a special cave underneath Stonehenge.

Chief Head Striker is a shaggy fellow with preternatural blonde hair, who goes out to chuck spears at UFOs by day, and romances the ladies by night.
